A Wine Made to Order

Xico is not one to wait around. When asked to make a red wine using only Alentejo grape varieties, the answer was quick: IT'S DONE RIGHT AWAY!

And so this wine was born, made with Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, and Trincadeira – three grape varieties that don't mess around. Harvested at just the right point, without haste or excess, to guarantee an expressive red wine, full of character and ready to impress.

Tasting Characteristics

With a deep color that immediately promises excitement, this wine opens with notes of ripe black cherries , combined with balanced and succulent tannins. On the palate, it is smooth, enveloping, and the kind of wine that makes you want another sip before the conversation ends. A red wine for those who don't like to waste time.

Finally, a touch of chili pepper, something secret to get you hooked.

Easy to like

Hard to forget

Made slowly so you can drink it with pleasure.

An unusual red wine, intense and easy to like. It doesn't tire you out, it doesn't weigh you down — it stays with you until the very last drop.

Intense flavor that wins you over at first bite.

Ripe fruit, perfectly balanced tannins without being aggressive, and a touch of pepper that's addictive.

A wine with identity, not just a label.

Made with local grape varieties and sold only here. This red wine doesn't follow trends or supermarket recipes — it represents the Alentejo region as it is: authentic, straightforward, and full of character.

Made with local grapes.

And ideas in my head.

Grapes from small winegrowers in Rio Grande do Sul

Xico didn't inherit land—but he knew who worked it well. That's why he sought out grapes from small producers in the region, where each bunch is treated with respect.

Made in a friend's wine cellar

Without estates or empires, Xico combined willpower, talent, and friendship. He made this wine in his friends' cellar.

Local varieties and fermentation at the right time.

Alicante Bouschet for structure, Aragonez for body, and Trincadeira for balance. Fermented slowly, while the full moon illuminated the cellar.

Is it known why?

Xico left the city to make wine focused on identity: with flavor, fun, and without boring words. The others just add volume. Xico makes stories that are meant to be drunk.
